Getting Started with an Apple Developer Account
For DoorDash to create and publish a branded mobile app on the Apple App Store you'll need to enroll in Apple's Developer Program and invite us to your developer team as an admin.
An Apple Developer Program membership is $99/year and is required to host apps on their platform.
Before you can enroll you'll need...
Legal Entity Status
Your organization must be a legal entity that it can enter into legal agreements with Apple. Apple does not accept DBAs, fictitious businesses, trade names, or branches. The legal entity name must correspond with the tax ID you plan to use and will appear on your product page for apps you may distribute on the App Store and Mac App Store.
The Authority to Sign Legal Agreements
As the person enrolling your organization in a developer program, you must have the legal authority to bind your organization to legal agreements. You must be the organization’s owner/founder, executive team member, senior project lead, or an employee with legal authority granted to you by a senior employee.
A Website
Your organization’s website must be publicly available and the domain name must be associated with your organization. We can help you get started with a free website if needed.
A Work Email
Your email address with your organization’s domain name.
A D-U-N-S® Number
Your organization must have a D-U-N-S® Number. Apple uses this to verify your organization’s identity and legal entity status. These unique nine-digit numbers are assigned by Dun & Bradstreet and are widely used as standard business identifiers. Learn more here.If you already have a DUNS find it here: USA or Canada
Create an Apple Account
Go to account.apple.com to create an Apple Account, and follow the steps here to complete the signup process.
If you already have an Apple Account, enroll in the Apple Developer Program here.
Apple requires Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for all accounts. The phone number added during registration will be used for 2FA purposes.

Enrolling in the Apple Developer Program
Go to developer.apple.com/programs/enroll and enroll in the Apple Developer Membership. You'll be prompted to complete enrollment in the Apple Developer app
if you don't have an iPhone, iPad, or Mac click Continue enrollment on the web.

1. Enter your information as the Account Holder
Enter your name and contact.
2. Enter your organization’s information
2.1 Select an entity
2.2 Organization Name and D-U-N-S® Number
2.3 Company headquarters address and phone number.
These must be associated with your company/business.
2.4 Company website
The website must be publicly available and the domain name must be associated with your company/organization.
2.5 Signing Authority
Confirmation you have the authority to bind the company/organization to legal agreements and provide the contact information of an employee who can verify your signature authority.
3. Payment
Once Apple has reviewed and approved the submission you'll receive an email to finalize enrollment and add a payment method for the $99/year membership fee.
Note:
If you enrolled as an individual or single-person business you must request a change from Apple directly. Apple does not allow team member invites for personal accounts. Learn about switching your account here.
What does DoorDash need me to do?
For DoorDash to submit an app on your behalf, you'll need to invite us to your developer team as in Admin.
Sign in to https://developer.apple.com (click account in the top corner)
On the right side, select App Store Connect
You may need to click to go to iTunes connect - if not you will be navigated to iTunes connect
Select Users and Access
Select + next to Users in the left hand side.
Enter:
First Name: DoorDash
Last Name: Mobile Apps
Email: mobile-app-onboarding-support@doordash.com
IMPORTANT:
Check Admin under Roles
Check Access to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles. under Development Resources
Note: If DoorDash is not given Admin access and Access to Certificates, Identifiers, & Profiles, we will not be able to properly submit your Apple application and this may delay your process.
